CONSTRUCTION

The idea is to bring the entire sea to our children under one African Roof, especially those who cannot afford it; in close proximity and easy access to public transport, e.g. bus, train and general transport and with ample parking facilities for busses and cars in front of the museum itself.

With the importance to teach our children to appreciate the wonders of our ocean in such a way that will foster conservation, a sense of ownership of our marine environment in such a way that will bring pride and partnerships. Other conservation issues like pollution, waste control, dangers of global warming, climatic changes and a host of other educational programs will be highlighted as and when progress is made with the construction of the museum.

These internal educational portfolios will be made known so that every child, adult or student may participate. In addition, the various magnificent open Marine Arts & Crafts Workshop Studios this will surely be a major draw card for visitors to experience and be able to talk to the artists himself.
