NB: Though a donation will be appreciated, it is not compulsory to become affiliated with Whale Mark.
We are quite excited about this new venture and certainly hope that you can join us to make this a
Permanent Expo in Cape Town.
Obviously, only a certain amount of space will be made available for this and applications received will
be dealt with on a first come basis!
The expo will have to entail a mix of all seafood and equipment sourcing at your fingertips i.e.( fish,
rock lobsters, prawns, scallops, salmon, crayfish, oysters, herring, pelagic fish, crabs, shrimps, line fish,
sardines, mackerel, abalone, calamari, wild and farmed fish, sushi and canned fish, etc.),frying and
non-frying batter portions, solutions and facilities to freezing technology, food processors, aquaculture
disciplines, conservation, education, fishing gear equipment for the marine and maritime industry and
what you consider relevant to your business objectives.
Our strategy is to market your company, non governmental organizations or governmental organs this
way free, together with a host of other marine disciplines under one roof, and at the same time add
your portfolio as part of the overall objective of bringing the "Sea under one Roof," to visitors.
Primarily, our core business is education, to ensure viable job creation possibilities from within our
organization for school children, students and at the same time for the tourism industry to visit the
multipurpose project, to enjoy the wonders of marine biodiversity. This will include
aquariums/whaling/fishing/maritime/conference facilities/class rooms/restaurant/coffee shop/10 arts &
crafts workshops etc, which is based upon one single facet, being education!
In this way a unique portal house of product lines supplied by you are made available to any company,
individual, prospective customer, buyer and tourist visiting the expo. Clients referred by you, will have
free access and how this will be done need to be discussed.
This marketing technique is totally unique. To ensure success in this manner your support is vital!
What is required from you to exhibit your product line is the following at your own expense:

1. Please state that you are interested?
2. Suggested space-1, 2 or 3 square meter. Please be specific as space is limited and the architectural plans need to be finalized as soon as possible.
3. Your product lines or expertise need to be specified. Please be specific as this will count in your favor.
4. Posters/banners/equipment/photographs/brochures/placement of order documents etc.
5. Furniture / exhibition stand/stationery.
6. Example's of all your product lines in colour to be forwarded by email or post to P.O.Box 1070, Parow,7499, Cape Town, Rep. of South Africa.
7. Uniform exhibit stands are considered!. At this stage it is open for discussion. Possibly a single supplier could be identified to supply this to ensure a reasonable market related price?
8. Please state whether you will consider any donation in kind?
   
   All applications will be referred to the Board of Directors.
   As the displays will be open to provide direct access to information, similar to the standard norm of
   exhibitions, security and supervision will be put in place.
   It is suggested that we can provide sales staff to place orders for clients on your behalf and create
   additional job opportunities for Whale Mark.
   As Training Provider for other disciplines we will gladly incorporate training of sales staff in conjunction
   with your company.
   However, we need to discuss this option and consider whether it is feasible or not.
   Cut off date for applications are 30 November 2007 and subject to availability of space.
